ABOUT ME
Since I was young, I knew being a creative was going to be a part of my future. Growing up in a family of designers, artists & musicians I've always had plenty of inspiration to draw from. With a background in photography technology, I have a good eye and the technical skills to create striking photographs. Culinary arts and entertaining have always been strengths and passions of mine which has led me down the path of food styling (a dream come true for me.)
MY STORY
As an internship project, Isabel took part assisting in the creation of a book called Second to None. “Second to None,” is a print book containing 27 original interviews with Chicago’s leading female founders and is a celebration of Chicago’s next generation of female trailblazers who are making waves, building community, and breaking glass ceilings. Featuring women from a diverse set of industries ranging from tech to finance to hospitality, their stories are a testament to the work being done in our great city by women who are fearless in the pursuit of their dreams and creating a future where women everywhere can confidently and wholeheartedly take their seat at the table.”
Since the start of Isabel’s career she has been lucky enough to work on projects within a diverse range of cultures. Aside from the traditional Western weddings many of us are familiar with, she has photographed Sikh, Indian, Jewish, Greek and Chinese weddings. In addition to her wedding experience, she has prepped and styled various ethnic dishes for major clients which include: Traditional Latin American recipes, Entrées and sides specific to Hanukkah as well as many elements from Asian culture. One of her most recent projects called for a Lunar New Year feast. She is always happiest when she’s learning new things.
